This just blows me away. It’s the work of Januz Miralles, an illustrator and fine artist from Laguna, Philippines. Januz combines painting with digital photomanipulations, creating incredibly appealing portraits of human figures which are woven into brushstrokes and textures. I love the results, and I’m astonished about how harmoniously the bodies and abstract forms blend in with each other. Enjoy!

Inspiration in the true aspect of the word. The images I have seen of Janux`s work will I am sure have an effect of my own art. Both my sons were born in The Philippines and we lived there for six years. I miss the country and the people and hope to live there again when my sons are grown up and have flown the nest. Next time though I am not sure about living in Mindanao, as there were two attempts on my life, but this just adds to the exciting mix of what comes out in our art..
