We’re starting off the week with some works by Brooke Weeber. Love her soft, whimsical style. The two flowery gentlemen are my favorites! Brooke Weeber is a Portland-based artist who finds inspiration in natural landscapes and Greek and Native American culture. She received her BFA in painting at the University of Oregon in 2003 and after this also received a degree in Professional Pastry Baking (which is her other passion!) in New York. She is currently settled in Portland again where she continues to create wonderdul illustrations. For more works you can visit her shop or hop over to her website:

Oh how love I Betsy Walton’s delightful illustrations.. Colorful, rich of details and always an adventure to look at.
I really wouldn’t mind dwelling around in her exciting worlds for a while. I would sit on pink clouds, float through green skies and hopefully run into one of her friendly-looking little characters too!
I couldn’t find too much about Lucía Franco online, but once I got to her Behance profile, I was pleasantly surprised by her large, colorful portfolio of boys and girls that look like they just walked out of a sweet fairytale. Aren’t they gorgeous? Lucía Franco is a designer and illustrator from Paysandu, Uruguay. She also worked as an art director at Eme Latam, a publishing house based in Montevideo in Montevideo. I thought it would be nice to have a little distraction from the grey winter that surrounds the Dutch landscapes these months. So I’ve gathered together some color-bursting creations by some of my favorite artists. Now, I will look at these for half an hour and dream about spring. I strongly recommend you to do the same 🙂 Happy weekend!
