Serena Curmi spent her youth on a sailboat, travelling to different places in the world such as the Isle of Man, Spain, the US and Malta. The environments she grew up in had a large effect on the beautiful paintings she paints, as they are often solid figures surrounded by wide and open spaces. She has been an illustrator since her graduation from Falmouth College of Arts and she has created commissioned works for clients such as BBC, Houghton Mifflin and Boden Clothing.
