Mana Morimoto

Japanese artist Mana Morimoto likes to give old images a special finishing touch with needle & thread. Using beautifully bright colors, she gives a playful & contemporary look to all kinds of visual fragments. I love the results. Look at the eyebeams!

Mana Morimoro was born in Sapporo, Northern Japan. She went to college in Oregon and returned to Japan afterwards. Now, she lives in Tokyo and has started to weave on a loom too.
