I love cactuses. It’s probably the only plant that will ever survive under my care and it’s pretty in an unusual and quirky kind of way. Argentinian artist Laura Garcia Serventi likes cactuses too. In fact, she created a complete series of beautiful, bright, flourishing cactusgreens that I can’t take my eyes away from. Flowers included!
Laura Garcia Serventi studied Painting in Buenos Aires and Photography in Florence, Italy. Besides her work as an illustrator she is also a set designer and prop stylist. In this field her work is characterized by the almost exclusive use of paper and her clients include Vogue, W Magazine & Elle. More to be found on her site!

BEAUTIFUL! I am actually studying art at school and so far we had to research this artist in order to get a higher grade. I actually paint myself, crazy enough that the style in which I paint is really similar to Laura Serventi’s work! Didn’t know about her since yesterday! Love the article 🙂
