Imagine leaving your home in the morning, turning around to lock your door and discovering that your entire wall is covered in colorful floral cross stitching. That would soooo make my day! When my eyes crossed Raquel Rodrigo’s installations online it actually already kind of made my day. I love the contrast between the big building walls and cross stitch sructures of the flowers. Yup, it’s the kind of art that leaves me speechless.
The cross stitches are strings wrpped around wire that have been prepared by Raquel beforehand and then installed in the streets of Madrid. For more of her projects you can visit her site here.
