I love colours. And I don’t think I’ve ever posted artwork that contains as many colours as right here in this post. These breathtaking creations are the work of Yellena James. She draws numerous shapes and forms that are so dazzling and eyecatching that it’s easy to get lost in them forever. Playful, strange and harmonious at the same time. And so many precious little details… the longer I look at them, the more I fall in love.
Originally from Sarajevo BiH, Yellena James moved to the U.S. at the age of 18 where she gained her BA in painting and graphic design. Her works have been featured in solo- and group exhibitions worldwide and she has illustrated for various clients such as Anthropologie, Crabtree and Evelyn & Crate and Barrel.
