The colorful paintings of Yangyang Pan, which are an absolute delight to look at, are careful close-up views of nature and it´s characteristics. In her current work, YangYang focuses on the contrasts found in nature, such as beauty and cruelty. What I love about her paintings is that each of them seems to have it’s own color dynamic, leading to surprising images that can be completely diferrent from her other works. Love! On May 9 Yangyang Pan will open a solo exhibition called Down the Rabbit Hole at the Madelyn Jordan Fine Art Gallery in Scarsdale, New York. The show will feature her work on linen and runs until June 21.
