It’s the gorgeous forest drawing in the first image that first caught my eye when I stumbled upon Ran Zheng’s whimsical drawings. Using colored pencil, Ran draws landscapes, characters, botanicals and many more imagery, all in such a playful and whimsical style. Love!
Originally from China and currently based in Brooklyn, New York, Ran Zheng (a.k.a. Tracy) is a freelance illustrator who graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) with a BFA in illustration. She mostly works with traditional media and loves to experiment with eye catching color palettes. Ran gets inspired by her travels, which is one of her favorite things to do.
