This afternoon I spent way too much time looking at all the gorgeous illustrated treats by Patti Paige; artist, baker and owner of Baked Ideas. With colorful icing and countless designs, Patti and her small staff turn yummy snacks into delightful pieces of art. I haven’t had the privilege to try one yet but if these cookies taste as goos as they look, these will drag me straight to cookie heaven…
Patti’s cookies have been featured in various magazines and baked for esteemed clients such as Tiffany and Co. and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. She also released a book called You Can’t Judge a Cookie by Its Cutter: Make More Than 100 Cookie Designs with Only a Handful of Cookie Cutters (The Stonestrong Press, 2014). It’s filled with fun designs, decorating techniques and dough recipes.
