My latest crush: the rich and colorful work of Emma Jayne. Sailors, ladies, gems, plants and so many more colorful delights can be found in her gorgeous illustrations! I love all the details and patterns that hide in her work. And those brightly colored cheetahs.. love!
Based in Cheshire, England, Emma Jayne is a freelance surface pattern designer and illustrator who likes to incorporate elements of nature, animals, people, and everyday objects in her colorful creations. She has worked with numerous clients, including Deva Designs, Chester Zoo and Dorma UK. Emma enjoys working traditionally and finishes off her illustrations on her computer.
I enjoy the entire design process, from inital inspiration research, creating concepts and sketches, testing different colour and media combinations, through to creating finished compositions from my ideas.
Emma is currently available for commissions. On her website you can find her contact info along with many more patterns and illustrations. A selection of Emma’s work is currently also available on prints and other items at Society6.
