Two amazing illustrators, one songline. It’s the challenge of a superfun project called Blame us for our Music Taste. Daria Solak and Anna Katharina Jansen pick a specific line of a song every Saturday and each create a corresponding illustration to that line. The results are so awesome!
I love how the drawings are so different every time, with both illustrators showing a lot of creative ways of visualizing a specific sentence. The drawings of the Rihanna song are my favorites <3
Follow the girls on Instagram for weekly updates!
Bodi Bill – I like Holden Caulfield / With you there’s no looking back
Graffiti6 – I Stare into the sun / Oh yeah cuz there’s a cloud she follows me ‘round wherever
Kate Nash – Foundations / You say I must eat so many lemons
Rihanna – Work / Nobody text me in a crisis
Janelle Monae – Tightrope / You can rock or you can leave
