I love everything about these beautiful, handcrafted ornanemts by artist Carole Hénaff. Such lovely colors and details! The’re part of a series of no less than 300 illustrated pieces, all created for a 3 feet high Cristmas tree at the Concord Museum in Boston in 2014 (in collaboration with Barefoot Books). Carole used various materials like clay, cardboard & papier-mâché and based her figures on her previously illustrated book The Arabian Nights. Her ornaments made the tree look magical.
