Elsa Mora’s lovely blog Art is a Way recently introduced me to these ceramic works by Vipoo Srivilasa. So many lovely shapes and details to discover in these tiny treasures… beautiful! Originally from Thailand, Vipoo Srivilasa moved to Australia in 1997 where he undertook a Master of Fine Art and Design (Ceramics) at the University of Tasmania. He now lives and works in Melbourne. Vipoo’s creations are often related to social, political and ethical issues within the contemporary society and his experience of having two homes (Thailand & Australia). The works below are part of two different projects called How to Make a Million before Dinner (2013) and Happy Land (2014). You can read more about these and other series on his website:
