About Of Unusual Kind
Inspired by the tradition of paper dolls and adorned with Anja Kroencke’s hand-illustrated clothing and accessories, Of Unusual Kind creates whimsical doll kits that are designed to play, inspire and tickle your imagination. Each kit comes with a different wardrobe and with each new doll added to the collection, you can mix and match the wardrobes of the other dolls to create endless fabulous looks!
New York based artist Anja Kroencke is the founder of the brand. Working as a fashion illustrator, the paper doll project was born while she was drawing, crafting and creating stories with her eldest daughter.

Those paper dolls are beautifully crafted! I grew up making paper dolls as an art & craft activity so to see paper dolls this intricate in design is just wonderful. Loving the colour pallette used too! Plus these would look great in my collection. I’m in!
