Feathers, flowers, parrots and pineapples.. the hand-painted patterns of Oakland-based artist Barbra Ignatiev are eye-catching, colorful & very diverse! Barbra graduated from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and earned a BFA in Illustration. She is the founder of the brand Barbarian, which produces fun, vibrant works that are used for different product collaborations. Her creations, which can be found on Society6 and other shops, are available on prints, fabrics, cases and many more.
I Shared some of Sonia Cavallini‘s illustrations last year and recently noticed that she paints beautiful patterns too. These are so lovely! Sonia is a freelance illustrator living in Lyon, France. She also photographs and you will find some very wonderfully whimsical shots on her website.

Now that Christmas is behind us these colorful paintings by Camilla Perkins get me in the mood for spring.
