I stumbled upon Alexis Winter’s illustrations on Instagram the other day. Now I’m a fan! Alexis is a Melbourne-born artist with a pair of restless hands and a passion for visual story telling, which both led her to become a great illustrator with a fun & edgy style. For many more of her creative projects you can visit her shop or site. Enjoy!

I spotted some beautiful black & white illustrations at a great market in my hometown Utrecht yesterday. They are works by Lydia Li; a product designer and illustrator from the Netherlands who recently graduated from the Amsterdam University of Applied Science, with a degree in Product Design. Using black fineliner, Lydia likes to draw simple things in everyday life. “We are so concentrated on our phones and computer screens these days that we often under-appreciate the beauty of simple things that surround us.”
