When illustrators start creating ceramics, magical things can happen. That’s what’s shown in this collection of beautiful, playful sculptures and functional ceramics by artist Miri Orenstein. Aren’t these gorgeous? Although all of Miri’s ladies have this quirky, one of a kind style, each of them has its own little character, making her creations such a delight for the eye. Love!
Miri Orenstein had been drawing and painting women’s figures for years before she got introduced to pottery. When she moved from Israel to New York and started taking lessons, she got hooked:
I instantly fell in love with the process and the ability to make my own product from start to finish. After extensive training and practicing on the wheel, I began making small batches of handmade ceramics, combining my love for design, craft, Illustration, and photography.
