I always love looking at Lisa Congdon‘s sketchbook projects. They’re so diverse and inspiring! As an artist, Lisa likes to focus on goals and challenges. And this year she committed herself to Experiments in Blue; a personal project that came forward out of three-week residency in Hudson, New York in which Lisa participated and painted in the color blue exclusively.
Using different materials, Lisa creates a painting using mostly the color blue every week. A new work is posted on her blog and on Instagram every Monday. Below are some of my favorites so far.
