The works of Kreh Mellick immediately drew my attention when they crossed my eye. Not just because they are red. It’s because of her lovely little figures that are hidden in the red. A bit ghostly and mysterious, yet pleasantly looking and ready to share their exciting stories with us.
Kreh Mellick is a painter and illustrator based in Asheville, North Carolina. While the works below are mostly red, she also likes to combine this with black, like in these Gosts & Bathers Series.

Pinterest inspired me to categorise my favorite art in colors and themes, and it´s about time I start doing the same on this blog. So every now and then I´ll be posting a selection of wonderful works based on a theme.
As a kickoff I’d like to introduce you to these gorgeous ladies in red, all created by artists featured on this blog. Enjoy!
