Only two weeks passed since I posted about Charlotte Smith’s gorgeous paper foods. But as it turns out, she creates GIF animations as well. After an exhausting day like today these groovy dances ranging from scary backflips to Beyonce-style disco moves are EXACTLY what I need to be looking at right now.

These animated drawings by Thoka Maer show how the slightest movement can give an illustration lots of character. Notice how the pencil lines continuously change? So lovely! A tiny single movement can bring so much life to a drawing! It’s what got my attention to these lovely, fun illustrations by Hastings/London-based illustrator Nina Cosford. I particularly like that third one, with the wobbling fashion items. Too cute!
