Latest illustration crush: blooming ladies by New York based artist Agniya Tolstokulakova. Rich of dreamy watercolors and sketchy details, Agniya illustrates divine female characters that are full of energy and strength. So beautiful!
I would love to spend a week or so in one of Ashley Amery’s dazzling illustrations; swim in the ocean and discover the beauty that hides in the waters, get lost in a forest filled with countless colors and playful shapes or meet one of the magical creatures that’s hiding between the gorgeous details of her work. So amazing!
Pastel colors and paper crafting; two of my very favorite things combined in these wonderful illustrations by Ida Kortelainen. Using colorful bits of painted paper, she creates collages that are rich of cute little details and character (and I know it’s still August but some of these pieces are making me long for some winter coziness!).
New ceramics crush: folk birds, dachshunds, flowers, feathers and more clay goods by Marina Andrin. Sculpted with highly detailed textures and adorned with colorful patterns. And the best part: they are wearable too!
Based in Novi Sad, Serbia, Marina Andrin is a jewelry designer who loves to create little characters that each tell stories on their own. Besides pendants, her pieces are also available as earrings and brooches (this little bear is my favorite!)
After sharing lots of Ceramic Gift Guides these last few months, its time to put a spotlight on some other crafty goods that have caught my eye lately. Art prints, wallpapers, hand-woven wall hangings and temporary floral tattoos to celebrate summer in style. Oh, and some ceramics too of course 🙂 All of the items are currently available online and clicking the links will lead you directly to the shopping spots. Enjoy!
