It was because of her work I saw on instagram and facebook that I began using colored pencils myself, I still have a lot to learn, but your work has been really motivating. My first colored pencil piece in the works is of an image of Angel Olsen.

    i would be beyond happy to have this celestial painting, i love love love natalie artwork so much since two years ago she inspires be to do art and i think it would match perfectly in my bedroom wall next to my desk. I describe natalie artwork as a simplistic but celestial work, She truly can combine colors so vibrant and happy but still pull this nostalgic mood in most of her drawings/paintings, i simply love them too much. The contrast between the colors, the nostalgic mood, the faces she draw, the concepts she creates, i think behind every drawing she does it has a story, i mean, in my mind when i see one of her drawings i can imagine the story of the character she drew, it pop ups to my head a lot of thoughts about the drawing like “what she was feeling?, the girl from this one it’s a closed friend? A stranger she saw? And of course i can only imagine the story about it, like the drawing “into the unknown” i imagine that is about the feeling we feel when we’re about to take a risk, a new challenge or you know, just a little girl who dreamt about being a professional swimer, this and more stories i have when i see her art and feelings as well. I like this one “the observer” because i can identify with the title, i’m that kind of person who overthink too much and sometimes i simplily think i’m destinated to observe and not to be.
