Dutch illustrator Nelleke Verhoeff recently produced a Haikubook together with Flemish author / poet Geert De Kockere, for which Geert wrote 1001 haikus (Japanese poems) and Nelleke created 71 illustrations. The poems are in Dutch, but I couldn’t resist sharing some of the included illustrations with you today. They’re lovely!
