Illustration, Painting

Kate Pugsley

Humble, sweet and every now and then surprisingly out of the ordinary. These are the ladies and gentlemen of Kate Pugsley; a Chicago-based artist who studied illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design. In her works, Kate uses oil paint, watercolors, gouache and cut paper. I love the harmonious colours she uses and the lovely patterns which show up in the background every now and then. A lovely way to end up the week… enjoy!

Awesome art. i love how it’s unproportional but in such a beautiful way. i haven’t tried this kinda style before and i’m itching to try. it’s almost impressionist or expressionist. this kind of art is my fav. i hope she does well with these pieces.
