I lost count of the times I have shared the work of Kristin Vestgård on this blog (she was even one of the first artists I wrote about when I started ArtisticMoods). But every time I visit her website and find new pieces in her portfolio, oh my, I fall in love all over again. So soft, sensitive, delicate, magical.. I’m obsessed! <3
Yup, posting the work of Kristin Vestgård. Again! I’ve been sharing Kirsten’s work frequently ever since I started this blog and still ADORE every single painting she creates.
Originally from Norway, Kristin graduated at the Falmouth College of Art in 2000 and gained immediate gallery successes afterwards. Her work has been featured in both solo shows & group exhibitions, and is part of private collections worldwide.
Norwegian artist Kristin Vestgård continues to be one of my favorite painters, so although I’ve shared her works numerous times, I’m happy to do it again today. The paintings below were featured in a recent exhibition at Campden Gallery in Gloucestershire, England. I love all the beautiful shades of blue in these and, as always, Kirsten’s delicate and charming style..
I know I’ve shared her works a couple of times before, but that didn’t stop me from doing it again today. Kristin Vestgård’s gorgeous, breathtakingly beautiful paintings still amaze me every time they cross my eyes. You can find more about Kristin in this previous post and on her website:
Charming, modest and simply breathtaking…I am head over heels with the paintings of Kristin Vestgård. Originally from Norway, Kristin graduated at the Falmouth College of Art in 2000 and gained immediate gallery successes afterwards. Her work has been featured in both solo shows & group exhibitions, and is part of private collections worldwide. The ladies she portrays belong to their own world and are absorbed in the spaces that surrounds them. And, Kristin explains, those specific places are neither here not there: “It is recognition of moments without a place in daily life, yet it is there, surrounding us every day”.
Kristin Vestgård’s work will be featured in a solo show at the Campden Gallery (Gloucestershire, UK) in July 2013.
Time for a little color fiesta! I’m loving all the shapes and colors in these beautiful, rich works by Inaluxe; an independent brand which is run by the creative duo Kristina Sostarko and Jason Odd. Kristina and Jason met at art school, where they decided to work on projects together. Since 2010 Inaluxe has been involved in all kinds of creative collaborations with clients such as Neiman Marcus, Blue Q & Earth Greetings.
