Based in Procidence, Rhode Island, Rebecca Adams graduated with a BFA in Photography in 2006. After school she focused on painting and in her beautiful works her background in photography is clearly visible. I love how, like in photographs, her characters are caught in unexpected moments. This, and her amazing work with light & shade reveal a certain intimacy that we usually do not expect to see in paintings.
